Why I Started DSD
I started DSD to build a range of tackle I could rely on every time I’m on the bank.
Nothing complicated. Just components that do their job properly, without overthinking it.
Over the years, I’ve used a lot of different setups and materials. You quickly learn what holds up, what you can trust, and what actually makes a difference.
That’s what shaped how I approach everything in this range.
DSD is built to be tight, focused, and consistent. No unnecessary extras. No overcomplication. Just tackle that performs the way it should.
Every product is sourced carefully and tested properly before it’s added.
There was a point where I stepped back and focused on what actually matters. That’s what shaped DSD into what it is now — a more considered range built around consistency.
I’m not trying to build the biggest brand in carp fishing.
